Making Reuse Happen from Decommissioned Infrastructure

Zero Waste Scotland have appointed Enscape Consulting to carry out research on how to make reuse become more mainstream, for organisations working on the built environment and energy sector (renewables and oil & gas), the main aim being to raise awareness of where certification and accreditation, warranties and insurance provide both opportunities and barriers for reuse of materials and items e.g. steelwork, concrete etc.

To help us understand how to generate more reuse of items and materials from decommissioned infrastructure, as part of the energy transition, we would be grateful if you could take 5 minutes to answer the questions available on SurveyMonkey here.

If this is a particular area of interest and you would be interested in a discussion about the potential opportunities and barriers, we would be grateful if you could contact Brian Menzies, Enscape director at:

E:  brianmenzies@enscapeconsulting.com

M:  0775 270 0939

Findings will be used by Zero Waste Scotland to recognise and support existing circular economy activities already underway or being considered.  It will also help to develop more understanding of what skills and training are needed to support organisations to build opportunities now and in the future.

Any data collected as part of this survey will be managed in line with the privacy and data protection policies of Enscape Consulting and Zero Waste Scotland
