Enscape Consulting reviewed the Scottish Business Climate Collaboration (SBCC) platform and delivery model. The SBCC emerged as a significant partnership following COP26, comprised of leading corporate businesses in Scotland dedicated to combating climate change and advancing towards a Net Zero future.  Jointly funded by the Scottish Government and SBCC members, and delivered by Zero Waste Scotland, an important feature of the SBCC is the Climate Action Hub which is used as a free-to-use platform to support SMEs understand climate risk and develop decarbonisaion plans to support the global ambition of net zero.

A qualitative review of the Climate Action Hub website, tools, and resources was undertaken to evaluate its position in the market, functionality, and value add compared to alternative platforms.  Exploration of potential growth and future development opportunities was carried out against a baseline of the current delivery model to identify the value of continuing or expanding Zero Waste Scotland’s current role in comparison to alternative delivery models.
