Enscape Consulting has provided many research projects aimed at identifying circular economy opportunities on a regional basis, including Dumfries and Galloway, the Scottish Borders, Perth, Kinross and the wider Tayside area, and most recently, for Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire (2024). 

Business Gateway Aberdeen City and Shire is the region's gateway to free expert local assistance and advice.  Business Gateway appointed Enscape Consulting to carry out baseline research for the region to help:

• Establish current awareness/understanding of the circular economy.
• Identify the level of ambition within enterprises to take forward circular models.
• Look to recognise any existing circular economy activity already underway in Aberdeen City & Shire. 

Findings from the research is being used to support the business and enterprise sector to become more profitable and resource-efficient, and feeds into the support offered by Business Gateway to local businesses and enterprises by:

• Creating tailored business, enterprise and community support.
• Informing planning processes and strategies for the region.
