Circular Economy Research and Guidance
Our team has delivered a number of circular economy projects involving research into what makes large scale reuse happen, surveys to identify attitudes, needs and barriers to change, and stakeholder engagement through one to one interviews, to understand the in depth opportunities and barriers.
Enscape has been providing these services to government agencies, local authorities, the private sector and social enterprises. We are pleased to have provided this support to Zero Waste Scotland in the development guidance for local authorities on making reuse happen at household waste recycling centres. This was developed collaboratively, with one to one interviews with many local authorities and reuse organisations. The document can be found here.
We have also prepared a bike reuse toolkit for local authorities, focussed on recycling centres, for Circular Communities Scotland and Cycling Scotland, which is available here. This provides information on how local authorities can maximise this potential, with templates for establishing service level agreements and data collection.
