Enscape Consulting was commissioned by The Highland Council to undertake a feasibility study into the development of a Nairn community food growing project, on one of the fields at Sandown Lands, next to the existing allotments.

The 4-hectare field (equivalent to 4 football pitches) could be used in the future to support more food growing using ecologically sound principles, provide training and job opportunities. The installation of solar panels as part of the development could assist in raising income for a future project and the Common Good Fund.
