Enscape Consulting is pleased to have provided support to a number of aquaculture businesses in Scotland over many years, in fish and seaweed farming.  When it is done well this is a sector which is vitally important to the country's rural, island and remote communities.  It also offers the potential to avoid many unsustainable practices that destroy wild fish and crustacean stocks, as well as the wider environmental damage that comes from trawling.

We have provided socioeconomic and environmenal assessments of different operations and are continuing to do this for a wide range of species and in different regions of the world.  We look forward to the sustainable development of this sector which is actively working to reduce its impacts while providing valuable food, pharmaceutical and other resources to a national and international market.
